If you’re looking for a modern city filled with night life and bars, you’ve come to the wrong town. If you’re looking for a quiet weekend away from home, lush forests as far as the eye can see, and a perfectly sandy beach, Holden is just for you. Let this town become your home away from home, let the cold, white capped waves take you away for an hour or two. You can walk down to the pier and buy some soggy french fries and fresh cod, or visit Aunt Mallory in her drift wood shop.

What’s that? You’re… you’re looking for something? Oh, someone. May I ask who, exactly? See, this towns population never changes unless someone dies or someone is born, no one new ever moves here. I don’t mind the tourists because they don’t stay for long, which is how I like it. No change, just everything staying the same.

Ah, Cecilia. We went to school together, she works down at Nice Bounds, it’s the local bookstore. They just got a new batch of books, so she’s probably down the stocking the shelves. I can show you the way, if you’d like.
